Although the tournament is final, it takes several hours for them to post official money results to be patient while I wait for earnings to tally the final results.

Moving Day at Augusta National

Yet another bunched up leaderboard at Augusta heading into the weekend.  It is still anyone's tournament and should be exciting to watch this drama unfold.

The top of the leaderboard and the number of players that picked them are as follows:
- Fred Couples (1 player)
- Jason Dufner (6)
- Lee Westwood (30)
- Bubba Watson (18)
- Rory McIlroy (63)
- Sergio Garcia (3)
- Louis Oosthuizen (2)

If you don't have any players in the top 10, you're rooting for Westwood and McIlroy not to win.  It's better to payout $1.5 million to just a few players rather than 30 or 63.

Of the 170 players that submitted golfers, below is the breakdown of players to make the cut at +5 or better:
- 112 players had all 4 golfers make the cut
- 47 players had 3 golfers make the cut
- 10 players are only heading into the weekend with 2 players

We have several players that have 3 players deep in red figures so they are looking at a juicy payday.  I'm sure the 60 players that did not select Tiger, including myself, are quite pleased to see him struggle.

Here are the top 3 aggregated scores through 36 holes:

Please remember the aggregated score leaderboard is not indicative on final money results.  For example, if you have 2 players that make the cut and one is at -7 the other is +7, this leaderboard will show you at even par but money-wise, the -7 golfer will snag you some decent change.

Below are the projected payouts based on an $8.5 million purse so you can gauge your golfer's potential earnings based on their position:

Jason Day Withdraws

Jason Day withdrew today after 7 holes due to an injury to his left foot.  This will affect 20 players in the pool who had Day.  Remember that your alternate is only in play if your player withdrawals PRIOR to the start of the tournament.  Since Day teed it up, 20 of you are SOL.

That's the way golf go.

Masters Round 1 Results Posted

Individual player results have been posted to the 'Masters' link under 2012.  You will also notice a pool leaderboard that tracks participant's aggregate scores against fellow competitors.  Please note that this pool is based on earnings and not score.  This leaderboard is just to give you a general idea where you stand compared to the rest of the field.

Both 'Masters' and 'Leaderboard' links will be updated at the conclusion of each round.

Our first round leader is Lee Westwood with his best ever round at Augusta.  30 players, including yours truly, has Westwood as a part of their squad.

Please let me know if you notice any errors in your results.
